Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Anyone who lets residential accommodation such as houses, flats, bedsits, holiday homes, guest houses, hotels, caravans and boats etc as a business activity is required by law to ensure the equipment they supply as part of the tenancy of letting is safe. Fire-Ex PAT test operators are qualified with City & Guilds 2377 Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment and operates an experience PAT testing division providing comprehensive and cost effective solutions allowing our customers to meet their legal obligations under The Electricity at work regulations with minimum of disruption to their business
Instructional Safety Signs
Providing quality safety signs around the workplace is an integral part of complying with health & safety legislation and provides personnel with clear concise safety instructions and directions. You MUST show in your business various signs, our signs are made of long lasting and hard wearing materials and the messages are clear, bright and sharp. All of our safety signs are compliant with the relevant British Standards. We offer an extensive range of signs in rigid PVC and self-adhesive signs.
Risk Assessments
Fire-Ex provides all of our customers with clear, easy to understand report that satisfies regulatory requirements and allows you to deal with any problems, or potential problems, as quickly as possible. A full and detailed consultation is available following the fire risk assessments to discuss any significant findings and require actions to achieve a satisfactory standard of fire safety within the premises.
Staff Training
For several years Fire-Ex has offered training to customers as part of their ongoing compliance with current legislation. We specialise in the delivery of on-site fire training and offer 3 training courses - Basic, Intermediate and Advanced.
