Extinguisher Sales and Service
A fire extinguisher is an active fire protection device used to extinguish or control small fires, often in emergency situations Care should be taken to ensure the correct type of extinguisher is installed and positioned correctly. There are two main types of fire extinguishers: stored pressure and cartridge-operated
Water extinguishers: Water is still one of the most cost effective ways to put out free burning material fires such as paper, wood and fabrics. Available in 9litres and 6litres
Water with additive: The additive provides quicker flame knock-down compared to standard water extinguishers which allows units in smaller sizes and lighter weight but with improved fire-fighting capability. Available in 3litres and 6litres
Foam Extinguisher
Spray foam extinguishers: Foam provides a fast powerful means of tackling flammable liquids. The foam forms a seal over the surface to prevent re-ignition; this kind of extinguisher is used on flammable liquids, paper, wood and fabrics. Available in 1litres, 2litres, 4litres, 6litres and 9litres
Dry powder extinguishers: is highly versatile medium for tackling most types of fires. Extremely effective on electrical hazards, flammable liquids, gases and general use. Available in 1kg, 2kg, 4kg, 6kg and 9kg
Fire Blanket
CO2 extinguishers: Harmless to electrical equipment, this kind of extinguisher have non-conductive anti-static horns and are suitable for electric equipment/fires, flammable liquids and gases. Available in 2kg and 5kg
Wet chemical extinguisher: Fairly new on the market and is capable of extinguishing a cooking oil or fat fire up to 75litres in size wet chemical process seals the surface of burning oil to prevent re-ignition, sometimes this kind of extinguisher is required by insurance companies. Available in 6litres
